I grew up a lanky tom boy too tall for most normal sized clothes. I had all the challenges an awkward kid faced and I never felt comfortable in my own skin.

Fast forward to my early 20's as a young professional in the corporate world who fell in love with fitness and the discipline and mental fortitude it brought to not just the gym, but my entire life.

Whenever I fell inconsistent or woefully unmotivated (as we all do), I knew that new activewear would relight that spark of inspiration - a small, subtle push that helped me step back into the woman I aspired to be. It's funny how a garment can do such a thing.

I realized clothing that made me feel confident not only gave me the motivation to hit the gym again, but it set off a chain reaction and started showing up in every area of my life - career, relationships, happiness... reintroducing me to that innate feeling I could accomplish anything I set my mind to, no matter how difficult.

And it all started from a single item of clothing.

With this in mind, I envisioned a product, a community, and a space that cultivated this momentum and conviction in women across the globe. Something more than just fabric... something we all shared. Something that makes us feel invincible and unwavering. Something that makes us feel Empowrd.
