I grew up a lanky tom boy too tall for most normal sized clothes. I had all the challenges an awkward kid faced and I never felt comfortable in my own skin.

Fast forward to my early 20's as a young professional in the corporate world who fell in love with fitness and the discipline and mental fortitude it brought to not just the gym, but my entire life.

Whenever I fell inconsistent or woefully unmotivated (as we all do), I knew that new activewear would instantly bring inspiration back. It's funny how a garment can do such a thing.

I realized clothing that made me feel confident not only gave me the motivation to hit the gym again, but it reinvigorated my passions and my self-belief. It re-solidified that feeling that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to.

That is the power of what a good piece of clothing can do for you.

With this in mind, and a mixture of many other crazy ideas - I set out to cultivate a community, a space, and a product that would help me share this feeling of conviction with women across the globe. Something more than just fabric... Something that makes us feel invincible and unwavering. Something that makes us feel Empowrd.
